Sustainability Solutions: Summit & Exhibition

CII-ITC Center of Excellence is holding its 6th consecutive summit on Sustainability that I’ll be attending by bringing the ‘blue’ and the ‘green’ together as viewed from the Indian context. Building upon its previous successes, it urges and encourages the industry leaders to move the needle on the sustainable business practices in their respective domains.

The event is jointly sponsored and supported by a healthy mix of government, civil society and the industry – Indian Ministry of Environment, WBCSD, WWF, Rio Tinto, L&T, HSBC, ITC Infotech among many others. Some of the topics that the Summit will cover are in the area of the next generation of corporate governance,  sustainable investments in Africa, and Sustainable innovations. The Exhibition will be represented by the businesses of all sizes, social entrepreneurs, academia, NGO’s, and governments.

As the CII-ITC website states that businesses that make outstanding contributions to sustainable development become role models for Indian corporations in adopting cutting edge practices – this Summit will see the change-makers and change-leaders in one place pushing towards carbon neutrality.

It’s a must-attend conference for any one interested to know the Sustainability scene in India and where it is going. Find out more at
